Tom & Amy Green Become The New Owners
We are delighted to announce that Tom Green, Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, and his wife Amy, have been appointed as Directors of the business, and will be the new owners of the Harlow and Puckeridge Clinics.
Tom has worked with Mike since 2014, when he joined as a new graduate, and has benefitted from Mike’s mentorship ever since.
Mike Varney is excited to pass the baton to Tom, to continue the stellar reputation that the clinic has built over 40 years. This is a wonderful opportunity for the legacy of the practice to pass into Tom and Amy’s safe hands.
Now established for 40 years, Mike Varney Physiotherapy offers a wealth of expertise and experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries. A range of specialized treatments are used to aid recovery and healing for a variety of injuries. Such conditions include: back pain, road traffic accidents, sports injuries and other muscle and joint problems.
Our aim is to provide professional advice and competitively priced treatment, to achieve the best possible results. We pride ourselves on providing excellent care, using evidence based techniques to ensure the delivery of the most effective treatment.
We offer 30 minute consultations and treatments where various modalities may be used in one treatment session. We are able to provide treatment under all major private medical healthcare policies. You do not need to be a member of Harlow Leisurezone sport centre to be treated by us, or pay an entrance fee to visit the practice. Free car parking is available on site within the sport centre car park.
What can you expect
from your first visit?
A history of the injury will be taken with any relevant factors included. An examination will then follow in a private treatment room, a diagnosis will be given and a treatment plan formed. You will then be advised of the approximate number of appointments required to resolve the problem. Treatment is often started on the first visit at no extra cost.
If you are a new patient you can find out more about visiting us on the New Patients FAQ page.
Our Puckeridge Practice
We have a Mike Varney Physiotherapy practice in Puckeridge which is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Find out more about our physiotherapy practice in Puckeridge here.
