The Harlow Town Centre Awards in partnership with Harlow Council took place recently and our very own Mike Varney was nominated and won the ‘Entrepreneur Of The Year Award’ sponsored by Harlow College.
The Harlow Town Centre Awards have been developed by Harlow Council in partnership with Phoenix Resource Centre (Environmental Charity). Launched in 2017 as part of the town’s 70th anniversary celebrations, the awards were designed to celebrate everything Harlow Town Centre.
This year is the third year of the annual awards, which have continued to grow and become a celebration of the companies, organisations, community groups, staff and volunteers of Harlow. The awards are recognition of hard work and commitment to making Harlow town centre a retail, leisure and community destination for all and a significant part of the community for local residents to enjoy.
With a variety of award categories ranging from Small & Independent Business of the Year, Community Project of the Year and Employee of the Year, there is a category for every business and organisation, as well as the people that make things happen – the individuals and teams amongst them.
