Where is the practice located?
We are based at Harlow Leisurezone. Once inside the building follow the signs to the Therapy Suite on the top floor. Don’t go to the reception downstairs, we have our own upstairs in the Mike Varney Therapy Suite. View a map here
What time should I arrive?
You should arrive 10 minutes early to your initial appointment. We require you to fill out a consent form to continue with treatment.
Where do I park?
Free car parking is available on site within the sport centre car park. You will need to collect a token from us to get out of the car park.
Do I need to be a member of the sports centre?
No you do not need to be a member of Harlow Leisurezone to book an appointment. We do however offer a 10% discount to Leisurezone members.
Do you work with medical or health insurance companies?
We are able to provide treatment under all major private medical healthcare policies.
How long are the physiotherapy sessions?
We offer 30 minute consultations and treatments where various modalities may be used in one treatment session.
What can I expect from my first visit?
A history of the injury will be taken with any relevant factors included. An examination will then follow in a private treatment room, a diagnosis will be given and a treatment plan formed. You will then be advised of the approximate number of appointments required to resolve the problem. Treatment is often started on the first visit at no extra cost.
What should I wear?
The therapist should be able to see the area to be treated. With upper limb, neck and back injuries be prepared that the therapist may ask you to remove items of clothing. It may be easier for you to bring shorts with you if the issue is concerning the lower limb.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours before your treatment. If you fail to inform us within 24 hours’ of your appointment you will be charged a £20 fee. If you fail to inform us within 12 hours’ or fail to attend your appointment the full session cost will be charged.
