David’s Walk

One of our fabulous patients David, has set himself a massive challenge of walking 1 mile through Harlow Town Centre for the Brain and Spine Foundation. David has spent years learning to both speak and walk again after he suffered a subarachnoid brain haemorrhage in May 2007. This walk will be the furthest he has ever walked since his brain injury and we are following his progress as he prepares for his challenge.

St Clare’s Midnight Walk

This year the Mike Varney Physiotherapy team have chosen St Clare’s Hospice as our charity of the year. So far we have raised £200 but we have a way to go to reach a target similar to last year! The team are completing personal challenges this year including the Midnight Walk in Harlow on the 2nd July!

Cancer Research UK’s Race For Life

On the 15th May 2016 the Mike Varney Physiotherapy Team helped support Cancer Research UK, by providing free sports massage and injury advice to the thousands of runners who gave up their Sunday morning to raise money to beat a devastating disease.
